Strummer Room Records is owned and run by Chris Oakes. The Strummer Room started life as an independent music project which became involved in the organisation of small festivals and gigs within Oxfordshire, UK. Including a regular radio show on Radio Horton and Puritans Radio promoting and featuring music from local bands and artistes. Chris opened a small 2nd hand vinyl record shop “Strummer Room Records - Mark 1” on the top floor of Antique Modern Mix in Parsons Street, Banbury in 2018 and moved to the current premises at 1 Church Lane, Banbury in February 2020. Strummer Room Records have agrowing range of brand new vinyl records and stock a large, range of pre-loved vinyl albums and singles of all genres, music-related books and DVD’s. We also sell vinyl, cassettes and CD's via Discogs​We stock an eclectic range of 33’s, 45’s LP’s 12” singles, EP’s, Promo’s White Labels of wide range of genre including Rock, Punk, New Wave, Pop, Indie, Jazz, Funk/Soul, Country, Folk, Electronic, Hip Hop, Drum‘n’Bass, House, Classical, Soundtrack, Comedy etc

Quality selection of around 2,000 LPs all £6 each or £5 each if buying in bulk. Also some boxes of select 7" singles all at £2 each.
