Record store founded in the 70s, offering a wide range of musical styles, particularly in the rock, indie, soul, country, folk and classical sub genres. Tons of vinyl, solid in CDs and a serious DVD section specialising in arthouse, documentaries and contemporary TV series.

Record seller with a collection of over 50.000 records.With almost all genres present and a big collection of Black Music & House but also Pop & Rock. Let me know if you want to drop by as normally I sell on appointment only.

Small shop but filled to the brim with vinyl. All genres. Most records are 1 for € 5 / 3 for € 10. Also a selection of classic albums and bands in great shape for more. Every few months I go here and leave with a big smile and a stack of records that I'm really happy with. A lot of nice finds here, and luckily, still for more than reasonable money!

You can find Velvet Music Leiden on the oldest shopping street in the Netherlands. Velvet Music Leiden is one of the biggest recordstores of the Netherlands. Theres got a huge vinylsection, a big movie section and en gigantic jazz- & classicalselection. Almost every week they house instoreperformances. A few acts that performed there are: Michael Kiwanuka, 10cc, Bettie Serveert, Jonathan Jeremiah, Lavinia Meijer, Kensington, Douwe Bob, Daryll-Ann, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Matthias Eick, Eefje de Visser, Kapok, Paul de Munnik, Tim Knol, Roosbeef, Izhar Elias, Rigby, Blue Flamingo, Huub van der Lubbe, John Coffey, DeWolff, The Slow Show, Fiction Plane, Mister & Mississippi, Moss, Matt Simons, Katy Gunn, Michiel Borstlap and all kinds of different local acts. And to discover new (or very old) music, they organise an intimate musicfestival: Peel Slowly And See.
