Dusty Groove is a Chicago-based online record store specializing in new and vintage jazz, funk, soul, hip-hop, world, rare, collectible, and obscure vinyl records and CDs.

Our store is located in the heart of Wicker Park at 1272 N. Milwaukee in Chicago, Illinois. We are conveniently located by the CTA Division Blue Line stop as well as the Ashland, Milwaukee, and Division bus routes. We also have the privilege of sharing the neighborhood with fellow vinyl sellers Dusty Grooves and Reckless Records, making our block the best record shopping area in the city. We carry all genres of of music new and old and curate a selection of releases from local Chicago & Minneapolis artists, with an emphasis on obscure, rare, or hard to find titles. Our New-Vinyl stock is extremely diverse, from chart-toppers like Taylor Swift, Sia, and Sam Smith to drone-metal heavyweights like Sunn, Boris, and Sleep. Regardless of genre, we've got the best artists in it. We have close to 20,000 records on the retail floor with more than 55,000 records from our online inventory in the back readily available. Customers can browse this selection in-store via designated iPads and may also choose in-store pick up for items they buy online at home. We have a 700+ vintage/rare posters, 25+ used turntables and audio equipment, and everything else you need to maintain and grow your record collection like sleeves, cleaner, adapters and more. Gift certificates of any price are available as well.

Excellent selection of vinyl, both new and used. The new section contains plenty of current artists, as well as new re-issues of classic albums. The used section is well stocked, and the owner has rated the condition of each record so you know what you are getting. Used prices are very reasonable. New prices are similar to what you would find online. If the record you are looking for is not in stock, the owner will order it for you. There is also a decent selection of "bargain bin" records that start at 25 cents. The selection is mainly focused on rock and roll, but you can find something from almost any genre. If you are looking for classic rock and roll albums, this is the place to go. Highly recommended. The store also carries CD's and videos but the real focus here is on vinyl. Closed Sundays and Mondays.
