Introduction: Discourage Records. We're primarily a used vinyl shop located in Portland, OR. We opened our first store in 1994 and have done a good proportion of our business through mail order ever since. Our original vision was to be a punk specific vinyl store but over the years we have also accumulated quite a selection of New Wave, Heavy Metal, Noise/Experimental, Rock, Industrial, 80's Pop, Grind, World Music, Electronic, Reggae, Rockabilly, Doom, Soul, Hip Hop, Funk, etc. in both LP and 7" formats. We carry some CDs as well as an assortment of T-shirts and magazines. Top dollar paid for rare punk! Trades are welcome too.
