Although primarily a musical gear shop, South City Music in Altrincham have now also branched out into selling Vinyl and just inside the door amid the very tempting array of guitars, amps etc you’ll find several crates of wax covering classic rock, Indie, Punk, Reggae, Dub, Soul and Motown and more. If you’re lucky the main man Adam, who divides his time between taking care of the shop and doing some heavy lifting in the real world of backstage rock n’ pop will be on hand with a brew and some of his rock and roll war stories. If you’re really lucky you’ll also be rubbing shoulders with certain Manchester music legends who frequent the shop to stock up on FX pedals and guitar picks. What are you waiting for?
